NVRENUF Rhodiola Rosea - a must try adaptogenic!

Posted by Jordan Acheson on

Rhodiola Rosea has been a firm favourite adaptogenic herb within our customer's and own supplement arsenal for many years. The root of the herb is packed full of active ingredients that help the body adapt to stressors. Rosavins in particular play a critical role in this process, so the new NVRENUF Rhodiola Rosea has been formulated to contain a whopping 3% rosavin concentration.

Due to its widespread popularity amongst traditional eastern europe cultures, Rhodiola Rosea has been at the forefront of scientific investigation in recent decades.

One study has noted significant improvements in symptoms of stress, fatigue, mood, concentration and quality of life amongst individuals suffering with chronic fatigue syndrome [1]. Notably, these improvements presented within the first week of supplementation. Such findings align with our own personal anecdotes at the little supplement company, as Rhodiola Rosea seems to provide rapid results.

Often described as 'nature's antidepressant', Rhodiola Rosea is commonly sought by individuals with low mood. A 2015 study compared the effect long-term Rhodiola Rosea supplementation, the pharmaceutical antidepressant sertraline, and a placebo had on improving depressive symptoms in individuals with mild-moderate depression [2]. Whilst sertraline proved most effective at reducing symptoms, Rhodiola Rosea also had a significant effect, but with far less side-effects. Subsequently, customers with low mood whom are wanting to stay clear of pharmaceutical antidepressants typically find rapid results when trying the adaptogen.

The root of Rhodiola Rosea may also be effective at improving a range of fitness and performance related outcomes. A recent systematic review (study of studies) has reported that Rhodiola Rosea supplementation reduces pain and muscle damage after intense exercise, minimises feelings of fatigue during exercise, as well as increasing explosive power [3]. Importantly, the review concluded that supplementing with Rhodiola Rosea was safe and provided meaningful benefits for athletic performance.

As NVRENUF's Rhodiola Rosea is soon to be landing in store, we will be offering a fantastic promotional offer. Be sure to keep an eye on our social media pages for more updates!
