The Hair, Skin and Nails market is booming and with any booming marketplace we get a huge choice from companies wishing to cash in. As cynical as this sounds it is very true. However there are some little gems out there on the market that you don't have to pay the earth for. For example a lady came in to my shop the other day and wanted me to order a hair product which cost £130, I've seen it in a major chain health store for £99.95. I thought WOW, this stuff must be amazing for that sort of price.
On further inspection of the ingredients I recommended to save the lady some money, she consider buying A Soul Beauty Complex which was normally £20, and even better, we had it on special offer for £10 for the next 2 weeks. The spectrum of ingredients was much larger and more complete than the £130 well marketed product. Saving her £120 and arguably getting a better product.
Like I said the beauty market it worth a fortune and many of the formulas are simply a multivitamin and mineral formula with a picture of a beautiful woman on the box, the price is then trebled and boom, we have a contender in the market place. A picture not dissimilar to the one on this blog - it got your attention though, didn't it?
It's in the feedback!
To me its all about nutrient knowledge, knowing what different nutrients do and applying that knowledge to the individual you are talking to. However, I don't stop there, in my 25 years working professionally in the fitness and natural supplement industry, I have always asked for client feedback. I want to know how real people, with real concerns get on with my recommendations and I believe this is what makes the difference. You can read all day long marketing spin and dodgy trial results or you can use knowledge, quality products and real people feedback from those products.
So Why Soul Beauty?
Well lets have a look at the ingredients.
MSM: (methylsulphonylmethane) is a naturally occurring form of organic sulphur found in all living organisms. It is present at a low concentration in human body fluids and tissue. Research suggests that a minimum concentration in the body may be critical to both normal function and structure.
MSM is found mainly in common foods, including: milk (where it is found in high concentrations), meat, fish and a variety of fruits, vegetables and grains. However, when foods are processed, heated or dried, the essential MSM is readily lost. Therefore, unless a person’s diet is composed primarily of milk and raw foods, it is unlikely that he or she is receiving enough MSM for proper health. Studies have suggested that the level of MSM in the body drops with increasing age.
Sulphur plays an indispensable role in human nutrition that is unfortunately often overlooked. It is an essential dietary component responsible for maintaining the bonds between certain amino acids. It has a critical role in maintaining the integrity of connective tissue.
Vitamin C -
Vitamin C is essential for the healthy production of collagen synthesis required for bone, skin, and tendon formation.
The antioxidant properties of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and its role in collagen synthesis make vitamin C a vital molecule for skin health. Some studies have even shown that vitamin C may help prevent and treat ultraviolet (UV)-induced photodamage.
MARINE Chondroitin- Skin is made of 75-80% collagen. As we age your body loses its ability to reproduce collagen which causes skin to lose its firmness causing sagging, fine lines and wrinkles.
Free Radical Damage.
We are all subject to free radical damage which is where free radicals attack our joints, skin and bodies on a daily basis. This causes things like arthritis, cancers, ageing etc. The Soul Beauty Formula is antioxidant rich and helps protect our bodies from this free radical damage.
